ABC Capital Partners Established as Exclusive Advisor to the Metrika Tech Fund, Launched with €21.3 Million in Fundraising

First Investment in Qinet, a Leading Player in the Cybersecurity Sector

Milan, March 12, 2021 – ABC Capital Partners, an advisory company co-founded by Dario Albarello, Francesco Baroncelli, and Alessandro Cozzi, announces that, as exclusive advisor to the Metrika Tech Fund, it has supported entrepreneur Livio Traversa in the growth of Qinet, a cybersecurity company based in Turin.

Metrika Tech is a private equity fund backed by high-profile private investors linked to the Italian entrepreneurial, information technology, and finance sectors. The fund focuses primarily on majority investments in the Italian small- and mid-market, targeting high-performing technology companies with revenues roughly between €5 million and €50 million. To date, Metrika Tech has completed its second closing, exceeding €21 million, with a total target of €30 million. The fund plans to execute a limited number of operations to implement an investment model with a strong industrial approach, particularly through a buy-and-build strategy.

Just a few months after its launch, ABC Capital Partners supported Metrika Tech in its first majority investment in Qinet, a leading Turin-based company in the increasingly strategic cybersecurity sector.

The main objective of the transaction is to support founder Livio Traversa in the company’s future development, through strategic and commercial expansion and potential integration with other operators in the same market segment, accelerating the growth path undertaken by the company in recent years. Livio Traversa, CEO of Qinet, will remain a minority shareholder with a 40% stake.

Founded in 2003, Qinet is a Managed Services Provider fully focused on networking and cybersecurity, employing over 40 senior and specialized professionals. The company’s vision is to deliver high-performance and secure ICT infrastructures capable of handling the most critical operational and security challenges. Its mission is to design secure infrastructures “by design” and manage them in outsourcing for loyal, competitive clients focused on their core business, providing cybersecurity services through its SOC (Security Operations Center).

Qinet’s services include implementing security systems, introducing technologies and operational best practices to safeguard, protect, replicate, and recover data, and monitoring potential issues through analysis of company data flows. Additionally, Qinet offers comprehensive post-installation network management, monitoring connected devices 24/7 via its NOC (Network Operations Center).
