Metrika Tech is a private equity fund backed by high-profile private investors from the Italian entrepreneurial, information technology and high finance sectors. The fund specializes in majority investments in Italy’s small and mid-market companies, with a focus on high-quality technology businesses. To date, Metrika Tech has raised approximately €40 million, exceeding its €30 million fundraising target, with the aim of completing a limited number of transactions in order to implement an investment model with a strong industrial approach, particularly with a buy-and-build strategy.

ABC Capital Partners assisted Metrika Tech in its third majority investment by acquiring a stake in Abissi (www.abissi.eu), a high-performing company operating in the increasingly strategic “Red Team” cybersecurity segment. The main goal of the transaction is to partner with and support founder Luca Savoldi in the company’s next growth phase through strategic, commercial and integration initiatives with other market players. This will accelerate Abissi’s growth trajectory, with 2022 revenues targeted at around €2 million and margins exceeding 30%.

Luca Savoldi, CEO of Abissi, remains a minority shareholder with a 20% stake. Abinsula Srl (www.abinsula.com), a leading Italian player in Embedded, IoT, Web and Mobile solutions—specialized in the automotive sector and part of Borsa Italiana’s ELITE network (Euronext Group)—has sold its majority stake but retains a 10% share in an industrial partnership perspective.
